Dover, Del. (Feb. 21, 2023) --- Delaware State's Annalise Bond (so.; Shamokin Dam, Pa.) has recorded back-to-back championships in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference women's indoor pole vault competition. Bond captured the title for the second year in a row at the Virginia Beach (Va.) Sports Center today with a top leap 3.30 meters (10'10") to earn the maximum 10 points in the event for the Hornets. Ishana Asinor of Morgan State was second in the women's pole vault at 3.20 meter )10'6"). Bond also won the 2022 MEAC indoor pole vault championship, also at 3.30 meters, to become the first Delaware State female to win the title.
