Home sweet home for Longwood women's soccer on Saturday afternoon. The Lancers (2-8-2, 1-1 Big South) pieced together one of their finest performances of the season in a 3-1 win over Gardner-Webb. Longwood excelled behind a high-energy attack, outshooting GWU (2-8-2, 0-1-1 Big South) 19-6 and goals from Remi Siner, Meghan Piazza and Sydney Robertson.
