HIGH POINT, N.C. — Under the Friday Night Lights, the High Point University women's lacrosse team shined bright with an 18-11 victory over Furman University. It was the Panthers' seventh straight win as they handed the Paladins their first Big South Conference loss. HPU had five players with two or more goals as Shannon Smith and Esprit Cha scored four goals apiece and Reese Dowgiallo added three. Allie Connally and Tatum Goettelmann had two goals as Haley Urban and Dowgiallo had a team-high three ground balls each. Connally also had a team-high seven draw controls.
