FARMVILLE, Va. -- Brooke Bennett hit the ball on the screws all day for Longwood softball, and Maggie Chapin added a solid effort in the circle for the Lancers on Sunday afternoon. The duo helped Longwood (12-22, 6-3 Big South) finish off a three-game sweep of Presbyterian with a 6-3 win at Bank of the James Park. Bennett went 3-3 at the plate with a pair of home runs, her first two collegiate homers, and Chapin struck out eight while earning the complete game win as the Lancers have now won six straight contests.
