Despite conceding the lead early, the Lancers rallied to claim the lead and their fifth consecutive win. The victory marks Longwood's (26-16, 12-3) fifth straight win over Radford (14-31, 3-13), dating back to the 2021 season. The Lancers now hold a 34-12 record all-time against the Highlanders.
