Big South Baseball Summary - May 12

USC Upstate withstood a comeback attempt and clinched a program-record 18th Big South victory with a 7-6 win Friday evening over Charleston Southern.  No. 13 Campbell used a pair of runs in the seventh to beat Gardner-Webb 4-3 in Friday night's series opener at Jim Perry Stadium.  Nicholas Badillo's walk-off single lifted Winthrop to a come-from-behind 7-6 victory over High Point at home.  Friday night's game between Radford and UNC Asheville was suspended in the bottom of the sixth inning with the Bulldogs leading by a score of 5-4 due to weather.  The game will resume at 3:00pm on Saturday.
