(www.BigSouthSports.com) – For the first time since becoming Big South members in 2019, USC Upstate has secured the No. 1 seed in the 2025 Big South Baseball Championship, it was announced this morning. The top six teams in the final standings qualified for the league’s double-elimination postseason championship, which will be contested May 21-24 at Truist Point in High Point, N.C. The Spartans won their first-ever Big South regular-season championship, as Upstate finished as the outright champion with its 19-5 record in conference play (.792 winning percentage).
