(www.BigSouthSports.com) -- For the second time in three seasons, USC Upstate is the No. 1 seed in the Big South Softball Championship following the conclusion of the regular-season this afternoon. The Spartans clinched their first outright Big South regular-season championship since becoming league members in 2019 and are seeking their first-ever Big South Tournament title. The top four teams in the final standings qualify for the league’s postseason championship, which will be contested May 9-11 at Terry Field on the campus of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C.
