(www.BigSouthSports.com) – Charleston Southern redshirt-junior Shawn Langley Jr. (Douglasville, Ga.) has been voted the 2023-24 Big South Conference Men’s Track Athlete of the Year, while High Point graduate student Chris Van Niekerk (Sasolburg, South Africa) has been selected the league’s 2023-24 Men's Field Athlete of the Year, it was announced today by the Conference office. The awards are voted on by the Big South track & field head coaches as part of their annual June meeting, and encompass both the indoor track & field and outdoor track & field seasons.
