NEW ORLEANS – Oakwood University power forward Jordan Bell was named the HBCU Athletic Conference's Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 26, league officials announced Tuesday. Bell, a 6-foot-6 senior from Mobile, averaged 20.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in the Ambassadors' first two games of the season. He shot 53.6 percent from the field, making 15 of his 28 shots, including 3-of-5 from 3-point range. Bell also had five steals, three assists and three blocks.
