CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Jordan Bell and Jason Griffin finished in double figures, but it wasn't enough as Chattanooga scored early and often enroute to an easy 103-46 win over Oakwood University Tuesday night inside McKenzie Arena. The contest served as an exhibition game for the Ambassadors, while the Mocs evened their record at 5-5. Bell finished with 12 points and five rebounds, while Griffin, playing in just his second game since becoming eligible, finished with 10 points and four rebounds. Oakwood shot 28.3 percent (17-of-60) from the field, including 10 percent (2-of-20) from 3-point range, and 66.7 percent (10-of-15) from the free throw line. Jordan Frisen led Chattanooga with 20 points, while Brennan Watkins finished with 10. The Mocs shot 49.3 percent (37-of-75) from the field, including 42.9 percent (21-of-49) from beyond the arc, and 61.5 percent (8-of-13) from the charity stripe. Oakwood is back in action Thursday at Philander Smith in an HBCU Athletic Conference game.
