Alderman Earns Wildcats Men's Athlete of the Week Award

FORT VALLEY, Ga. -- Helping the Wildcats to its fourth win in as many weeks, football defensive end Tim Alderman is this week's (Sept. 19-25) Wildcat Men's Athlete of the Week. He posted 5 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks for 18 yards in the 44-27 win at Bluefield State. Two of his big plays came at key moments of the 2nd half -- on Bluefield's final 2 possessions, he tackled the QB on 4th-and-1 from the FVSU10 for a 3-yard loss to end the drive then he registered a 10-yard sack on 2nd-and-10 on the final drive at the FVSU30 to push it back to 3rd-and-20 from the FVSU40 before 2 straight incompletions sealed the win.
