Alcorn Splits Doubleheader, Texas Southern Takes Series

LORMAN, Miss. – The Alcorn State softball team splits day two with Texas Southern, delivering a 2-0 shutout in game one but suffering an 11-3 loss in the closing contest of the three-game series. The Lady Tigers take the series 2-1, and the Lady Braves move to 7-18 overall and 4-5 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
