SALEM, VIRGINIA (March 24, 2024) – The top eight bowling teams took to the lanes for day one of the 2024 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Bowling Championship at Lee-Hi Lanes in Salem, Virginia. Day one of the 2024 CIAA Bowling Championship started with Individual play. The 2023-24 Bowler of the year, Paige Rockwell from Fayetteville State finished with the highest average of 197.25. Amaree Durfee from Virginia Union followed with an average of 193.50. TaVera Johnson from Bowie State finished with an average of 183.25. Shaw's Brooke Smith had an average of 179.50. Rounding out the top five is Kiara Powell from Virginia Union with a 179.50 average.
