Last Friday (January 13th), Head Baseball Coach, Chase Almendarez presented at the 2023 Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association (THSBCA) Convention in Round Rock, Texas. Over 2,500 coaches from across the State of Texas attend this convention annually. "Establishing The Standard" was the title of Almendarez presentation, his topics centered around his journey throughout the game of baseball, current role at Huston-Tillotson University, and baseball's current lack of diversity. Huston-Tillotson University is one of the first HBCU's to be highlighted at the convention for this year.
